A fine jet of Nitrous Oxide is emitted under high pressure, which allows the clinician to work with millimetre precision. The skin imperfection is removed by freezing the inter-cellular fluid, forming ice shards and crystals which rupture the membrane, thereby destroying the cell. This means that no healthy tissue is effected.
Cosmetic procedures such as skin tags, milia, cherry angiomas are no longer being treated by many doctors on the NHS.

Providing the aftercare advice is followed there is very little risk of any undesirable after effects.
