Powder Brows are a type of Permanent Make Up. It helps to achieve a more enhanced eyebrows with a soft, shaded finish—like the look of brow powder or a gentle tint. The result is a defined but natural-looking brow that can be built up from subtle to more structured, depending on your preference and your natural brow shape.
What Powder Brows can help with
• Sparse, uneven, or over-plucked brows
• Loss of definition or shape
• Creating symmetry and a more lifted, polished look
• Saving time on daily brow makeup

Consultation: step-by-step
1. Welcome & medical history. We’ll talk through your general health, any medications, allergies, previous PMU/tattooing, and any contraindications to ensure the treatment is safe for you.
2. Your goals & style preferences. We’ll discuss the look you’d like to achieve (soft and natural vs. more defined), your usual makeup routine, and how you like your brows to sit on your face.
3. Brow assessment. We assess your natural brow shape, hair growth pattern, symmetry, and skin type to recommend the most suitable approach and pigment depth.
4. Colour selection. A pigment shade is chosen to complement your skin tone and hair colour, with an emphasis on a natural heal.
5. Mapping & pre-draw. Your brows are measured and mapped, then a brow shape is drawn on for you to review in the mirror. We only proceed once you are happy with the shape. (This is usually done on the day of procedure; however I am happy to do this on consultation day also if required)
6. Patch test A patch test will be carried out; this is to be done 48 hours prior to treatment; I will not complete the treatment without this being done.
7. Aftercare & expectations. We explain the healing stages, typical longevity, the need for a top-up appointment, and how to prepare for your treatment day.
8. Questions & consent. You’ll have time to ask any questions before completing consent forms and confirming your appointment.
9. To book or not to book. If you decide you want to go ahead with the treatment, a deposit will be taken towards the treatment cost (will be removed from the total on procedure day) and we will book your appointment in. If you are uncertain, or need more time to think, this is not an issue, there is no pressure to book on consultation day.
The Powder Brows procedure: step-by-step
1. Map and Pre draw. The brow area is cleansed and prepped. We confirm your chosen shape and colour before starting.
2. Final mapping check. We will both look over the shape and ensure we are happy, if not, we will design the brows until you are 100% comfortable. The next step will not take place until we are happy.
3. Pigment implantation (shading). Using a sterile, single-use needle cartridge, pigment is implanted into the upper layers of the skin to create the brow with a machine. We work gradually to create an even, powdery finish.
4. Soothe & protect. The area is cleaned, soothed, and a suitable aftercare product is applied.
5. Aftercare briefing. We talk you through your aftercare instructions and what to expect over the next few days as the brows heal and soften.
6. Top-up appointment. A perfecting appointment is typically recommended after the initial healing period to refine colour and shape once the skin has fully settled. This is usually between 6-8 weeks
Healing & aftercare (overview)
• Expect a darker look at first. Immediately after treatment, brows typically appear stronger in colour and slightly sharper in shape. They soften as they heal.
• Light flaking is normal. As the skin heals you may notice dryness/flaking. Avoid picking or scratching.
• Keep the area clean and follow your aftercare plan. Use only products recommended by your clinician.
• Avoid heat, steam and sweat. For the first days of healing, avoid saunas/steam rooms, swimming, and heavy exercise as advised.
• Avoid sunbeds and strong sun exposure. UV can affect pigment retention—once healed, SPF helps maintain results.
• Plan around events. If you have a holiday or special occasion, it’s best to book with healing time in mind.
