Sculptra® is a long-lasting, non-invasive treatment that restores facial volume and reduces wrinkles by stimulating natural collagen production. Results develop gradually and can last up to 2 years.
• Poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) stimulates collagen in deep dermis.
• Indications: Volume loss, wrinkles, scars, sunken cheeks, facial asymmetry.
• Treatment Plan: Typically 3 sessions, 3 weeks apart. Gradual results.
Contraindications
• Allergies to ingredients
• History of keloids/hypertrophic scarring
• Pregnancy, breastfeeding, under 18s
• Active skin infections, sores, or inflammation
• Use in lips or peri-orbital area (unsafe)
After care
• Apply ice (no direct contact).
• Follow the 5-5-5 Rule: Massage treated areas 5 minutes, 5 times/day, for 5 days.
• Avoid sun/UV until swelling and redness settle.
• Makeup after a few hours if no complications.
Results
• Gradual, natural-looking improvement.
• Not immediate (initial swelling may mimic results).
• Lasts up to 25 months after final session.
